The Social Panorama Model was developed by a gentleman by the name of Lucas Derks. This model makes use of goal orientated units that Derks has termed, 'Personifications'. These 3 - Dimensional representations are symbolic of every person that you, me or anyone else has ever met. They can represent a person's mother, father, brother, sister, boss, groups of people, etc...
In this model where a person represents a personification dictates the quality of the relationship that they have with them. Someone that might you might be close too will quite literally be close to you. Someone that you might not keep in touch with or what others might dictate as having a distance relationship will be represented at a great distance from the person representing them.
A person's entire past/current relationship with their family can be mapped out geographically revealing quite a tremendous amount of information regarding the quality of their relationship with their family. This model is amazing simple and yet in depth and would require a great deal more than this single blog post in order to fully give the reader an appreciation for all of the intricacies of Derks work.
